Needless to say we are SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!! April/May 2015 The Zydeco girls traveled to Ohio again for the National Specialty and Companion Events. It was an emotional and very memorable week with tons to be proud of. Roux placed 3rd in the 10-12 Veteran Bitch class at the Regional, Filé took 2nd in the Field Trial Bitch class and Lucinda WON the Hunting Bitch Class. At Nationals, Filé took 4th in FT bitch and Lucy took 4th in Hunting Bitch. The highlight of my week was having both of my Duals entered in the All Star Review!! I wasn’t sure Roux would make it to Nationals with us this year so having them both in the ring was incredibly special. To top it off, Filé was awarded BEST IN REVIEW!!! I am still on Cloud 9 and so thankful for the love and encouragement of friends and family that helped us along the way. March 2015 Filé takes 4th place at the VCA National Gun Dog Championship!!! We traveled all the way to Mingo Sportsman Club in Ohio to the VCA NGDC’s largest entry to date. The grounds were spectacular and the course was challenging. Filé beautifully handled 7 birds with a perfect retrieve (her Grandma Di shot her bird) to earn 4th place out of 44 starters. January 2015 DUAL CHAMPION AMATEUR FIELD CHAMPION FEEWAY!!!! She did it and I could not be more proud! Filé had a lovely run to score a nice 1st place ribbon at the FL Panhandle GSP Club field trial to finish her AFC and retrieving points. This last weekend we went to Neupoint Farm for the emotional and friend filled South Louisiana Vizsla Club field trial.
