GCH Zydeco’s First You Make A Roux MH ROM

NAVHDA NA Prize I

Filé is out of our first Zydeco litter, DC Lagniappe Roux MH, VC, ROM and DC AFC GCh Grousebend’s Dago Red MHA ROM.  She was the purple girl, Devery, and stood out to us from the beginning. Filé is an exceptional little girl with a spunky attitude and lively personality. Whether she shows you a big “toothy” grin or snuggles up with you on the sofa she will steal your heart. Filé is a lovely combination of Roux and Ozzy and we are so proud to have her has the matriarch of our Krewe!

Filé started her show career with a bang. At 6 months old she won a 3 point major at the SLVC’s Supported Entry and won Best in Sweepstakes at the SLVC Specialty. That same weekend she won a Sporting Puppy Group 1 and Sporting Puppy Group 2. After limited showing, Filé became our first home grown Champion and we could not be more excited!! She also completed her Grand Champion title in 4 weekends with 5 majors! She has surpassed my highest expectations and topped off an excellent 2011 with a NAVHDA NA Prize I.

Filé started her gun dog career by finishing her Senior Hunt Title in 2 weekends and her Master Hunter in 3 weekends. One year from the beginning of her gun dog debut, she finished her Amateur Field Championship and 2 weeks later won a 17 starter Open Gun Dog major to finish her Field Championship. She placed 4th out of 44 starters at the Vizsla Club of America’s National Gun Dog Championship at Mingo Sportsman Club and 3 weeks later won the prestigious All Star Review at the National Specialty!! Needless to say, 2015 was an incredible year! Although she is serious and stylish in the field, her silly temperament and toothy smile will steal your heart!!
